Alpha Tango designed a maturity game for Xebia, a company specialized in digital transformation. The Maturity Game revolutionizes the way companies keep track of the skills of personnel and enables them to easily discover in which disciplines there’s room for improvement. Designed for both employees and upper management to find everything in one place.

Challenge

Xebia wanted to offer a way for companies to gain insight in the existing skills of their employees. The Maturity Game aims to do just that; but is also designed to motivate teams to get better and collaborate more.

Solution

By splitting the employees in to teams that battle against each other, each with a team captain, they are incited to keep coming back and finishing the challenges at hand. Other gamification elements are also used, such as the unlocking of challenges, gaining points and earn rewards.

Design: Playful and Evolving

We developed a design language that is playful and evolving for every team. Every discipline has it’s own color and shape. The shape grows along with your team's skills. Together, all disciplines and their respective size make your team avatar.
